Security Anomaly Alerts

If there is a sudden spike or drop in the number of violations, Yottaa sends you an anomaly alert through email or Slack.

A spike in security violations likely means that a new service is attempting to access your site. This could be a third party that you have recently added to your site, a malicious service, or even a first- or second-party resource that Service Blocker has not yet identified.

The anomaly alert tells you if the service (or services) was flagged or blocked. A flagged service can still access your site.

After you receive a security anomaly, open the Service Blocker dashboard and use the Diagnostics tables to investigate what service might be causing the anomaly. In this case, it is likely Facebook.

Decide whether you need to allow the service to preserve proper functioning of your site. You can set the content security policy (CSP) or page security rule to allow the service by going to the Security Rules page and editing the rule.
